Black & Whites from my personal collection of my own photos. These are not from some anonymous photographer or, even worse, stolen from the internet.
I am doing listings on eBay for other photos and also some for smaller sizes, so please check those out if you prefer something a bit different to what you see here - www.ebay.co.uk/sch/shellshockphotos/m.html?_trksid=p3692
This listing is for -
1 x Black & White photo of Banksy's most iconic image, the 'Girl With Balloon'. This was taken by me on the fringes of Hoxton, East London on 18th October 2006. It was white washed by the local housing provider in March 2007, meaning there were no longer any left in the world!
I have hand coloured the balloon to its original red colour and shape / size.
And have signed and numbered it out of 18 copies (per colour of border).
This image is consistently chosen by fans (especially female) as their favourite image, and its meaning is endlessly debated on dull forums. Is the girl grabbing for the balloon (lost love?) or is she letting it go? Who cares - LOL. I would have thought it was relatively clear, as his books give the following caption, “When the time comes to leave, just walk away quietly and don't make any fuss”. Mr.B probably doesn't mention this image often to Mrs.B :-)
• Size = 10" x 8" (25 x 20cm). I have deliberately chosen this size as it is the easiest large photo size to find a frame for.
• Solid Black Border or Solid White Border - you decide
• Printed by a well known and well respected photo company on Kodak archive photo paper (sorry but these ones, at this price, are not hand-printed photos from a darkroom)
Your photo will be sent in a plastic protector, within a brand new strong board backed 'Do Not Bend' envelope. I then add a piece of strong board on top, so the photo is sandwiched with card on both sides.
NOTE - if postage to the country where you live doesn't seem to be available at the check out please email me. Big Cartel has a rather funny / annoying postage system. I WILL post to anywhere, including Outer Mongolia!
